Terms of service
Last updated November 6, 2026 · In force from November 6, 2026
These terms of service govern the use of nivå, a service for self-assessment of AI maturity provided by Addable Labs AB, registration number 559602-2615, VAT number SE559602261501, with its registered office in Eslöv. Together with the data processing agreement, they constitute the agreement between us and an organisation that uses the service; for your own use of the service, including your private account, they are the agreement between you and us. Section 5 sets out important limitations on how results from the service may be used.
1. Parties
The service is provided by Addable Labs AB, a Swedish limited company with registration number 559602-2615 and VAT number SE559602261501 (“we” or “us”).
A person who creates an organisation in the service does so on behalf of the company or other legal entity named in the service (the “Customer”) and thereby warrants that they are authorised to enter into agreements in the Customer's name. The Customer thereby accepts these terms and the data processing agreement, which forms part of the agreement between the Customer and us. A new version of these terms or of that agreement may be accepted in the same way by the owner of the organisation in the service, who thereby warrants the same authority; otherwise it applies as set out in section 13. The owner of the organisation in the service is deemed authorised to make the choices and receive the notices referred to in these terms on the Customer's behalf. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the people it invites use the service in accordance with these terms.
Everyone who signs in has a private account (section 3). For it, these terms apply between that person and us. When you use the service in an account in an organisation, these terms govern your use of the service within that organisation, and the Customer, through the organisation's owner, controls the settings described in section 4.
2. The service
In the service you place yourself on a five-level scale in a number of areas of AI maturity, on the basis of the descriptions given for each level. The service stores your answers, shows your result, suggests what you may try next and, if you belong to an organisation, includes your answers in the organisation's aggregate results in accordance with the rules in section 4.
An organisation's owner selects which of the roles we provide in the maturity model are used in the organisation, assigns each member one of those roles and sets the target level for each area within each role. The wording of the areas, the levels and the guides is determined by us and cannot be modified by an organisation, so that a result has the same meaning wherever it was given. A published version of the model is not altered once results have been given against it; it can only be superseded by a new version. An earlier result therefore keeps the meaning it had when it was given.
3. Sign-in and accounts
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. The service does not use passwords and does not store any. You are responsible for the security of your email account, since anyone with access to it can sign in to the service under every one of your accounts.
Your email address is your sign-in. An account is your email address in one organisation, or your email address with no organisation, which is your private account. One sign-in reaches all your accounts. If an organisation invites you when you already have an account, accepting the invitation gives you a new account there. Nothing in your other accounts changes, and the inviting organisation learns nothing about them.
An account in an organisation is governed by that organisation: the Customer decides who has an account there, with which role and team, and what is visible to whom under section 4. No organisation sees or decides over your private account. What you assess for yourself, in your private account or in a role you do not hold, is shown in each of your accounts, and no organisation sees it unless you create a link to it.
One person may own several organisations. Modules never cross accounts: a module is available only in the accounts of the organisation that added it.
You must provide an email address that you are entitled to use and have reached the age required to enter into a contract in your country of residence. The service is intended for use in working life and is not directed at children.
4. Organisations, roles and visibility
An organisation has an owner, managers and members. The owner may invite people, end memberships, assign each person one of the model's roles, set target levels and change the settings described below. If the owner can no longer act for the Customer, we may make another current member the owner on a written request from a person entitled to represent the Customer, who shows that entitlement with a current registration certificate, or the corresponding document from the register where the Customer is registered, naming them as a signatory, or with a power of attorney signed by such a signatory. We may inform the previous owner by email. A manager may invite people to the teams for which the manager is responsible. Invitations are sent by email and are valid for 14 days. While the service is open only to addresses we have let in, a person invited at another address who accepts the invitation is put on our list, and joins the organisation when we let that address in. In these terms, the managers above a member means the manager of the team to which the member belongs or, where the member is the manager of that team, the manager of the team immediately above it, and the manager of every team above that one.
Within an organisation, the following rules determine what is visible to whom. Some of them may be changed by the owner; the others apply without exception:
- The owner chooses who sees members' results: their managers, or nobody. The choice applies at once to every result, including those already submitted, and the owner may change it at any time. Where the owner has chosen their managers, the managers above a member and the owner see the member's level in each area, and the member's earlier submitted assessments, only once the member has submitted the assessment to the organisation. They also see the next steps the member has chosen from a submitted result, except those the member has set aside, and any area the member has marked as blocked, including the reason the member has given. Nobody else in the organisation sees this information individually, and nobody sees the owner's. Where the owner has chosen nobody, only the member sees their own results.
- Members never see one another's individual levels, and no setting can change this. A colleague's result can be seen only through a link that the colleague has created. Beyond that, a member who is neither the owner nor the manager of a team sees no data about other members, apart from the display names of the owner and of each team's manager. The owner and the managers see the display names of all members. Where a member has not set a display name, the owner sees the member's email address. A manager sees it too for the members of the teams for which the manager is responsible and of the teams below them.
- Averages are shown only to the owner and to managers, never to other members, and to nobody where the owner has chosen that nobody sees results. The owner and the managers always see the current average for the people they lead, even when the group is small. When only one person's answers are in an average, the average shows that person's level. Knowing where the people they lead stand is part of their role. If the owner allows it, a manager also sees the average for the team above their own and for the whole organisation. Those averages are snapshots that update only once at least three people outside the manager's own teams have changed their answers. They are shown only if at least three of the people in them belong to other teams than the manager's.
- Managers see aggregate results for the teams they are responsible for, and the owner for the whole organisation, such as averages per area and trends over time. Aggregate results show no individual answers beyond what is set out above. Where the owner has chosen that nobody sees results, no aggregate results are shown.
- The organisation's owner sees which members have submitted an assessment and when, and a manager sees it for the members of the teams for which the manager is responsible and of the teams below them. Where the owner has chosen that nobody sees results, they see only whether a member has submitted, not when. If the organisation has access to the service's API, the owner may give other systems access to the member list, including which members have submitted an assessment, and to the averages the owner sees, but never to individual answers or levels.
- Each member may create links to their own results unless the organisation has turned this option off. The setting applies to the owner as well. While it is off, links already created in the organisation's account do not open either.
5. What the service is not
The service records what you state about your own way of working. It is not a test, a measurement or a verification of anyone's ability. Answers are self-assessed and are influenced by factors such as confidence, culture and context at least as much as by skill.
Neither you nor the Customer may use results from the service as a basis for decisions concerning a person's employment, such as recruitment, promotion, pay, performance rating, disciplinary measures or termination. Results are self-assessed and are not suited to such decisions. Such use may also conflict with data protection and employment law, for which the person making the decision is responsible.
The service does not constitute legal, financial or other professional advice.
The tips in the service are general suggestions for how AI can be used at work and do not replace your employer's rules or applicable law. You and the Customer decide which AI tools may be used and what information may be shared with them, and are responsible for ensuring that this happens in accordance with the rules and law that apply, such as data protection law. We do not provide, and are not responsible for, AI tools from other providers.
6. Prices, invoicing and payment
Your private account is free of charge. An organisation is charged per active seat and calendar month. A seat is active in a calendar month if the person was a member of the organisation at any time during that month: from the day they accepted the invitation, or created the organisation, until the day the membership ended. An invitation that has not been accepted is not a seat. The first five active seats in each calendar month are free of charge. The five free seats apply per user. Several organisations of the same user are counted together: of the organisations the user owns at the end of a calendar month, the one created first has the five free seats, and the others are charged from their first active seat. In this paragraph, user means the person who owns the organisations.
The Customer may choose between two terms. (a) Annual agreement: SEK 39 per active seat and calendar month, for an agreement period of twelve months, billed monthly or quarterly in arrears as the Customer chooses. The first agreement period begins on the first day of the calendar month after the annual agreement is entered into. The annual agreement is renewed for a further agreement period of twelve months unless either party gives notice at least 30 days before the current period ends. Once an annual agreement has ended, the agreement continues under term (b). If the Customer ends the annual agreement before the end of an agreement period, the months of that period already billed are re-priced at the rate for use without an annual agreement and the difference is billed; any months of that period not yet billed are billed at that rate. (b) Without an annual agreement: SEK 45 per active seat and calendar month, billed monthly in arrears; the agreement may be ended at any time with effect from the end of the current calendar month. An annual agreement is entered into when the Customer's owner chooses it in the service, or when the Customer and we agree on it in writing, for example by email; until then, term (b) applies. Neither term involves a commitment to any minimum number of seats.
What a module includes and costs is shown in the service before it is added. Modules added by the Customer are charged per organisation and month at the module's price in force at the time, from the day we activate the module, in proportion to the number of days the module is active in the billing period. A module offered in preview is free of charge while it remains in preview. A module may also come with a free trial period, as stated in the service. What was chosen or saved during the trial stays when it ends. We may retire a module. From the day we retire it, it can no longer be added. A module the Customer pays for continues until an end date at least 60 days after we give notice by email to the organisation's owner; a module in preview may be retired with one month's notice. Nothing is charged for a retired module after its end date.
Prices are stated exclusive of VAT, which is charged in accordance with applicable rules. Nothing is billed in advance. Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. The Customer's owner may save a payment card in the service. By saving it, the Customer authorises us to charge that card after the end of each billing period — each calendar month, or each quarter if the Customer has chosen quarterly billing under an annual agreement — with the amount for that period's active seats and modules as calculated under this section, plus VAT. The charge is made in the first days of the following calendar month. The authorisation applies until the card is removed in the service or the agreement ends; a period already used is charged even if the card is removed after it ended. If a charge fails, Stripe tries again during the following weeks and sends the Customer an email with a link to pay. If no card is saved when a period is charged, the amount is charged to the next card the Customer's owner saves. If the amount is still unpaid after the last attempt, the organisation cannot invite more people until it is paid; nobody loses access, and we contact the Customer. If an amount remains unpaid after a reminder, we will contact the Customer before the organisation's paid seats are suspended. A saved card is needed to invite or restore a member beyond the organisation's free seats.
An amount charged in error is refunded to the card it was charged to. Since everything is charged in arrears for use that has already taken place, nothing else is refunded.
We may change prices, including seat prices, module prices and how free seats are counted. A new price applies from the day it is published here or in the service to a Customer that enters into the agreement after that day. A new module price applies in the same way to a Customer that adds that module after that day. For other Customers without an annual agreement, a price increase applies from the first calendar month that begins at least 30 days after we have notified the organisation's owner by email. Under an annual agreement it applies only from the first month of the next agreement period that begins at least 30 days after that notice, never during a running period. A reduction applies at once. These rules also cover prices set out in these terms, and an increase that follows when a transfer of ownership moves the five free seats to another organisation. A price increase entitles the Customer to end the agreement, including an annual agreement, with effect from the date on which the increase takes effect for the Customer, without re-pricing under paragraph (a) above.
Questions about invoices should be sent to support@fluentor.se.
7. Content and intellectual property
We claim no rights in your answers or in the organisation's name. You grant us a non-exclusive right to store, process and display such content to the extent necessary to provide the service, to the persons entitled to see it under the applicable settings, and in accordance with the privacy policy.
All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the maturity model — the areas, the level descriptions and the guides — belong to us. The model cannot be modified by an organisation. It may be used within the service, including to assign people in the organisation the model's roles and to set target levels against it, but it may not be extracted, republished or resold as a standalone product.
8. Acceptable use
You undertake not to:
- answer on behalf of another person, or put pressure on anyone to answer in a particular way;
- attempt to gain access to data belonging to organisations of which you are not a member, or to persons outside them;
- probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written consent; or
- use the service in breach of the law, or to harass or discriminate against anyone.
9. Availability and changes to the service
Free use of the service is provided as is, without any commitment as to availability or as to restoring data.
For paid use we aim to keep the service available and to give advance notice of planned maintenance. The data is backed up daily by our hosting provider, but we do not currently make any commitment as to availability, service levels or recovery time, and do not undertake that data can be restored to a particular point in time.
We may change or discontinue features of the service. If a change materially reduces what the Customer's plan provides, the Customer may terminate the agreement with immediate effect, without re-pricing under section 6.
10. Limitation of liability
Our aggregate liability to the Customer for loss in connection with the service is limited to an amount equal to the fees the Customer has paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the loss, but not less than SEK 10,000. Our aggregate liability to a user who is not a Customer is limited to SEK 10,000. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as loss of profit or revenue, for decisions made on the basis of results from the service, or for the use of AI tools from other providers (see section 5). In the event of loss of data, our liability is limited to restoring the data from the most recent backup, where one exists.
The limitations in this section and in section 9 do not apply where the loss was caused intentionally or through gross negligence, nor to the extent that liability follows from mandatory law, such as liability for personal injury or liability towards a data subject under Article 82 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation). If you are a consumer, they apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform an obligation under the agreement where the failure is due to circumstances beyond its control which it could not reasonably have foreseen when the agreement was entered into and whose consequences it could not reasonably have avoided or overcome, such as war, natural disaster, decisions of public authorities, widespread disruption of public communications or power supply, or a failure of a subcontractor caused by such circumstances. A party wishing to invoke such circumstances shall notify the other party without delay.
12. Term and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and request that your sign-in, with all your accounts, be deleted; the privacy policy describes how, and what then happens to your data.
The agreement with the Customer applies until further notice. The Customer may terminate it by asking us to remove the organisation, with the effects set out in section 6; the removal is described in the data processing agreement.
We may terminate the agreement with the Customer, or with an individual user, on 90 days' notice. Either party may terminate the agreement with immediate effect if the other party materially breaches it and has not remedied the breach within 30 days of a written request to do so. If we terminate the agreement for any reason other than the Customer's breach, no re-pricing under section 6 applies.
We may suspend or close an account, or a sign-in, that is used in breach of these terms, in which case we will state the reason unless prohibited by law.
13. Amendments to these terms
We may amend these terms. A change of price follows section 6. A new version applies from the day it is published here to anyone who first accepts these terms after that day. For existing Customers and users, a material amendment takes effect no earlier than 30 days after we have notified them by email — each user at their own address and the Customer through the owner of each organisation. The notice states the date from which the new version applies. Until then, the previous version continues to apply to them. If the organisation's owner accepts the new version on the Customer's behalf in the service before that date, it applies to the Customer from the acceptance. A party that does not accept an amendment may terminate the agreement with effect from the date on which the amendment takes effect for that party; for the Customer, no re-pricing under section 6 then applies.
Corrections and clarifications that do not change the parties' rights or obligations, amendments solely in the other party's favour, and amendments required by law or by a decision of a public authority, may take effect for everyone on publication here. All other amendments take effect no earlier than 30 days after notice under the first paragraph. The date at the top of this page states when this version was published. Earlier versions are available on request from support@fluentor.se.
14. Assignment
We may assign the agreement to a company in the same group or to an acquirer of the business of which the service forms part, provided that the assignee assumes our obligations under the agreement; we will notify the Customer of such an assignment. The Customer may not assign the agreement without our written consent.
15. Notices
Notices under the agreement are given by email. Our notices are sent to the email address you sign in with or, in the case of the Customer, to the address of the organisation's owner. Notices to us are sent to support@fluentor.se. A notice sent by email is deemed to have been received on the first working day after it was sent.
16. Governing law and disputes
The agreement is governed by Swedish law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes shall be settled by the Swedish general courts, with Lund District Court (Lunds tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory law of the country of your habitual residence. You may always bring proceedings before the courts of the place where you are domiciled, and proceedings against you may be brought only there.
Questions about these terms should be sent to support@fluentor.se.
17. Consumers
The service is intended for use in working life. If you nevertheless use it as a consumer, mainly for purposes outside your trade or profession, the following also applies.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law. Where section 9 says that free use is provided as is, that applies only to the extent such law permits.
We change the service as it develops, when the law or our providers require it, and for reasons of security. If a change materially reduces what you can do with the service, we tell you in advance, and you may end the agreement free of charge within 30 days of the change.
You may withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of creating your account, by deleting the account or by writing to support@fluentor.se. Use of the service is free of charge, so withdrawing costs you nothing.
If we cannot agree on a complaint, you may take the dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm, arn.se. We decide case by case whether we take part.
